To ensure access to the resources on blackbaud.com, especially those — like Chat, Case Central, Community, Downloads, and Training — available to members of our Blackbaud Advantage maintenance programs, you should have a Blackbaud account. I don't have a blackbaud.com login; how do I get one?
Contact your organization's site administrator , who can invite you to create a Blackbaud.com account. From blackbaud.com, select Sign in and then create an account.
What email address should I use?
Use a valid email address where you want us to communicate with you. Most customers prefer to use their email address for their organization instead of their personal email address.
What Sign in options should I use?
We recommend you use the "Sign in with Blackbaud" option. You can use this with any email type, including Google or gmail. However, if your organization uses a Google domain for its email addresses, you may want to sign in with Google to use its authentication requirements, password resets, and other support needs. Can I sign up with one email address and use a different email to receive Blackbaud communications?
By default, you'll receive Blackbaud communications at the email address used with your Blackbaud account. However, if you're a member of a customer organization, you can update your communication preferences in the Customer Portal. The email address you see in your Customer Portal is the email address we'll use to communicate with you.
What are the password requirements if I use the Sign in with Blackbaud option?
Your password must meet this criteria:
- 8 characters or more
- Must have at least (3) criteria:
- Capital letter
- Special character (! @ # & , % & * _ )

I didn't get the confirmation email to complete the set up of my Blackbaud.com account.
The email we sent may have been blocked by your organization's email server. Please have your email services staff:

Is my blackbaud.com login the same as my Blackbaud software login or the Blackbaud Hosting Services login?
It depends. In addition to blackbaud.com, you can currently use your Blackbaud account to sign into:
SKY Developer Portal
Raiser's Edge NXT
Financial Edge NXT
Luminate Online (Beta)
All other software logins use different user names and passwords.
I can't access secure resources on blackbaud.com or I'm getting this error: It appears you have a valid Blackbaud account, but you are not currently associated with any organizations.
You'll receive this message if your blackbaud.com account is not linked to your record in our system. To link your records, follow these steps:
- Clear your blackbaud.com cookies
- Log into Blackbaud.com by signing into your Blackbaud ID login account.
- Click your initials at the top right and scroll to select Support Resources.
- From the top menu, select Case Central.
- If you can access Case Central, your records are now linked correctly.
