Depending on how the users are currently uploading their photos, there are a few possible ways to disable this.

Uploading the User Photo through the application:

If the users are uploading these through the applications, you would want to un-require and hide the Applicant Photo option from the Applicant block.

For applications that are already in use, this will require you to:

  1. Navigate to Enrollment Management 
  2. Select Admissions > Admissions Setup 
  3. Select Application Forms 
  4. To the right of the appropriate form select Copy
  5. Create a name for the new form and select Save 
  6. Once saved, select Edit to the right of the new form
  7. Find the Applicant block.
  8. Select "No" for the Require column and select Hide

  10. Set the new form to Active.
  11. Inactivate the old application.
  12. Repeat as needed for any additional applications.

 

Uploading user photos through the checklist:

If the applicants and families are uploading the photos through the checklist, you would need to either remove or un-publish this step.

  1. Navigate to Enrollment Management 
  2. Select Admissions > Checklists 
  3. Select Edit beside the appropriate checklist 
  4. Beside the photo upload step select Edit 
  5. Set Required to "No"
  6. Set Candidate Publishing Option to "No
  7. Select
    Save

Note: if you would like to delete the step instead, select the garbage can icon to the right of the step 
 

Uploading the user photos through the profile:

If the parents (or the applicants themselves) are uploading the photos through their profile, this access will need to be updated through Core.

For parents updating applicant photos:

  1. Navigate to Core > Security > Profile Access
  2. Select Profile Relationship Access.
  3. Select the role of the users who are updating the information from the drop-down (i.e. Parent of Candidate).
  4. Select the role of the user(s) they are updating (i.e. Candidate).
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Change User Photo from Edit to View.

For candidates updating their own photos:

  1. Go to Core > Security > Profile Access. 
  2. Select View/Edit Profile Fields.
  3. Select the user's role from the drop-down (i.e. Candidate).
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Change User Photo from Edit to View.
