Error: Data could not be saved. The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint;FK_SALESORDERITEMMEMBERSHIPGUESTPASS_MEMBERSHIPLEVELBENEFITID - When editing Benefits in a Membership Program
You may be attempting to edit your Benefits in a membership, which include guest passes, but when you try to save, you receive this error message: Data could not be saved. The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_SALESORDERITEMMEMBERSHIPGUESTPASS_MEMBERSHIPLEVELBENEFITID". The conflict occurred in database "XXXXX", table "dbo.SALESORDERITEMMEMBERSHIPGUESTPASS", column 'MEMBERSHIPLEVELBENEFITID'
You may be trying to update the number of guest passes issued and update when they expire, but receive the message when you try to save.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Go to Memberships, click the name of the appropriate Membership Program, and click on the Benefits tab. 2. Click Edit. 3. Click Save. Receive the error message. 4. Cancel out, and go to Terms and Levels tab. 5. Click Edit, and uncheck every box next to the different levels in your database under the Active column, except 1. 6. Repeat steps 1-3, receive the same error message
