When attempting to edit a payment in a locked deposit to enable the Do not receipt flag. That is the only change made. When you press save you will get the message "Data could not be saved. Payments cannot be added to locked deposits."

When trying to edit a payment in a locked deposit to enable the Do not receipt flag,  when you press save you get the message "Data could not be saved. Payments cannot be added to locked deposits."
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack 

As a workaround try the following steps, 
1. Go to the Treasury tab in CRM 
2. Transactions > Deposit search
3. Search for this deposit and click on it 
4. In the upper left hand corner under Tasks is Unlock Deposit
5. Unlock it, go back and add the Do not receipt and Save, then go back and lock the deposit using the same steps
 

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to a constituent or organizations record > Revenue
2. Choose a posted payment , making sure it has been locked
3. Under Tasks click Edit posted payments
4. Click the Payment Information tab, then check the Do not recipet box
5. Save > see error - Data could not be saved. Payments cannot be added to locked deposits
