BBIS honeycomb report is recording failed transactions without indicating they were declined

BBIS honeycomb report is recording failed transactions without indicating they were declined. The initial screen of the honeycomb report is correct but drill down into the recipient actions to see declined transactions. In the clients case we retrieved the XML declined information from the transactions table in SQL. There was no record of the donation in either the payment services or BBCRM.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a donation form and put it on a page
  2. Create a new email message in BBIS (Email -> Messages) and add a link to the donation page
  3. Send the email (as final) to yourself (constituent list)
  4. Click on the link
  5. Fill in the donation page but use incorrect card details, ie 411111111111111 (1 missing at the end)
  6. Attempt to submit – observe the validation error for invalid card number
  7. Go to Email -> Messages and view the honeycomb report
  8. Click on the recipients link
  9. Click into the recipient email address
  10. Observe the Action of Donation and the email transactions summary – this is incorrect. The donation was NOT successful yet it is still being recorded
 
*The honeycomb tile for transactions is correct, it’s when you drill down into the recipient actions that it shows incorrectly
