The Payment Count column on the Pending Families page provides you with the number of months designated for billing, per payment plan, as selected by the family. The number of months include tuition-billed months and incidental-billed months.

For example, if you have a quarterly payment plan due in July,  August, September and October, which is 4 tuition-billed months, but have no other months designated for incidental billing, then the Payment Count would be 4.

If you had an annual plan with tuition due in July,  but you also bill for incidentals July through the following June, then you would have a Payment Count of 12, since there would be 12 billable months in the plan.

You can also view the payment count on the Manage Payment Plans screen:
  1. Logon to https://school.smarttuition.com
  2. Select the school year
  3. Click on Settings at the top right of the screen
  4. Select Manage Payment Plans
  5. View the Payment Count per payment plan
