Required Field Missing - when adding bank relationship

You may receive the error "Required field missing" when adding or saving bank relationships.
This can occur when a field is marked as required in Config - Fields but does not yet have a value applied to the record.
However, sometimes this error can appear when there are no required fields set or all required fields have been populated.
  1. Ensure the bank has been added to Config - Financial Institutions before adding the relationship record.
  2. Exit and Sign Out of Raiser's Edge.
  3. Log back in and when adding the bank relationship to the constituent, use the binoculars to search for the existing bank that is now saved in Config.
  4. When bank details have been populated, add the account holder and account number then save and close the relationship.
  5. If error still occurs, contact support.
