Revenue reports timing out from SSRS but not front end

Revenue reports are timing out when run from SSRS but are working correctly from CRM itself. This issue is occurring even with a small set of parameters that shouldn’t return any results.
We’re currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.
 

Steps to Duplicate

1. Navigate to the Giving Activity report from CRM with the following parameters:
-Start Date: 01/01/2018 (alternatively even a 1 day start/end times out)
-End Date: 04/04/2018
-All records.
2. Note the report completed successfully. Example parameters return 2 records.
3. From SSRS Navigate to System reports > Revenue Processing > Activity Report.
4. Use the same parameters as above (or one day)
5. Note the report times out after ten minutes.
