Address finder process is failing on step 3 of the process with the error message: Record operation could not be performed. Not enough unique records were sent. A minimum of 100 unique records is required. Job ID XXX. This is article details why this error can occur and gives some details on how to resolve the error.
This error occurs when less than 100 actual unique addresses are submitted to the service. So the total number of constituent records submitted might be over 100 but if those records don't have addresses that meet the criteria, then the actual unique addresses submitted may drop below 100.  The following can impact what addresses for the selected constituent records are submitted:
  • Address selections chosen in Step 1 of the AddressFinder process
  • Countries and States table settings
  • The address isn't an actual mailable address
  • Submitting Household records (Currently being evaluated for a change)

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Admin>Data Tune-up
  2. Select NCOA process 
  3. Select query that includes Household Records 
  4. Submit
  5. When downloading the file in Step 3, receive error
