Please perform the following checks to troubleshoot why the system may not be matching a specific application:

Check Settings on the Opportunity
  1. Locate the opportunity in question
  2. On the Details tab of the opportunity, scroll down to locate the Type field; confirm the Automatch bubble is selected
  3. Locate the Match On Drafted field; if the box next to this field is not checked, a student will need to have a submitted General or Conditional Application in order to be matched into the opportunity
  4. Verify the Source field defined on the opportunity, then continue below to the section labeled with the appropriate source
If the Opportunity is Sourced to the General Application
  1. Open a new tab in your browser and navigate to Opportunity > General Applications > Applications
  2. Use the search boxes under the Name or Primary Email columns to locate the application
  3. If the application is in a Drafted category and the opportunity in question is not set to Match On Drafted, the applicant has not completed all the steps necessary to be considered for the Automatch opportunity
  4. If the application is in a Submitted category (or is in Drafted and the opportunity is set to Match on Drafted), locate the Categorized At column. If the Categorized At date is later than the opportunity's Internal End Date, the applicant did not complete their application before the deadline to be automatched.
  5. Click View to access the complete application in more detail
  6. In your browser tab that is open to the opportunity Details tab, select the Qualifications tab
  7. Compare the opportunity's Qualifications against the answers on the General Application and Imported Information provided. If the answers provided on the application do not fully meet all qualifications within at least one of the qualification groups, the application is not qualified to be matched into the opportunity.
If the Opportunity is Sourced to a Conditional Application
  1. Open a new tab in your browser and navigate to Opportunity > General Applications > All; click on the Conditional Application Details link under the name of the Conditional Application associated with the opportunity.
  2. Select the Applications tab within the Conditional Application
  3. Use the search boxes under the Name or Primary Email columns to locate the application
  4. If you are unable to locate the application, the applicant has not completed all steps necessary to be considered for the Automatch opportunity in question
  5. If the application is in a Drafted category and the opportunity in question is not set to Match On Drafted, the applicant has not completed all the steps necessary to be considered for the Automatch opportunity
  6. If the application is in a Submitted category (or is in Drafted and the opportunity is set to Match on Drafted), locate the Categorized At column. If the Categorized At date is later than the opportunity's Internal End Date, the applicant did not complete their application before the deadline to be automatched.
  7. Click View to access the complete application in more detail
  8. In your browser tab that is open to the opportunity Details tab, select the Qualifications tab
  9. Compare the opportunity's Qualifications against the answers on the General Application, Conditional Application and Imported Information provided.  If the answers provided do not fully meet all qualifications within at least one of the qualification groups, the application is not qualified to be matched into the opportunity.
