Error: Server Error in '/XXXX' Application.- when acessing web forms

When I click on the url for web forms I am getting a sever error. An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. 
This can happen if a merchant account is not selected.  
  1. Set up your merchant account
  2. Make sure you have a merchant account selected for web forms

If you still receive the error Chat with support and reference this article.  In addition, provide the following information:
  • The exact steps to duplicate the issue
  • Date and Times that the error occurred

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to the web tab 
2. Click manage membership forms
3. Click the expand button nex t to any web form that is approved for online sales (general membership) 
4. Click URL get server error
