This error message occurs because the cloned role is also associated with Learning Profiles. In order to remove these roles, they have to be unmarked within the Access section of a  Learning Profile forms.



  1. Go to Academics 
  2. Grades > Select Grading Setup
  3. Select Learning profile forms 
  4. Select Edit for the appropriate Learning Profile 
    • Note: If unsure which Learning Profile has the role marked, users will need to review all Learning Profiles to ensure the appropriate roles are no longer marked within the Access Section of the Learning Profile 
  5. Select Access
  6. Unmark the option for ReportIcon and View for the appropriate role
  7. Select Save and Exit
After taking the steps above, users should now be able to remove the role
