(For example, if you have a course that is 4 terms long, and you are currently in your 2nd term - there are not 4 terms remaining to create a section for).

To add a section to a course that is offered for more terms than what are left in your school year, you will need to go back to Course Sections:


  1. Go to Academics 
  2. Scheduling > Select Request and Schedules 
  3. Select Classes 
  4. Select the appropriate School Year, School, and Select the first term when the course was originally offered
  5. Expand the preferred grade level/department > Select Manage Sections  
  6. Select Add Section to add an additional section> Enter the preferred info OR Select Delete this section to remove a section
  7. Select Save Section
