​To report on constituents giving over a certain amount in a set time period, you will need to create a Constituent Query and a Gift Detail and Summary Report, utilizing your Constituent Query.

To create the Constituent Query:
  1. In the Raiser's Edge, navigate to Query > New Query
  2. For Query type, select Constituent
  3. Select your desired Query format
  4. Click OK
  5. On the Criteria tab, select Summary Information > Summary for Gift > Total Amount of Gifts
    • Operator: Greater than or equal to
    • Value: desired total gift amount
  6. Select the Filter tab
  7. Select Gift Date
    • Operator: between
    • Value 1: start date
    • Value 2: end date
  8. Click OK
  9. Click OK
  10. Save and close the query
To create the Gift Detail and Summary Report:
  1. Navigate to Reports > Financial Reports > Gift Detail and Summary Report > New
  2. On the General tab, click Include and select Selected Records...
  3. Locate your query and click Open
  4. Under Include Gifts with these Dates > Date, select the date range specified in the query 
  5. Make any other appropriate selections
  6. Click Preview to run the report
