NOTE:  The instructions below are for subscribing to the RSS Feed for Suspect Transactions in the BBMS Portal.  Please remember that this process is exactly the same for any other available RSS Feed in the BBMS Portal.

Internet Explorer:
  1. Log in to the BBMS Portal at https://bbms.blackbaud.com/
  2. From the Home screen, select the 'Suspect transactions' tab.
  3. Click the RSS Feed icon.
  4. If prompted, enter the BBMS credentials and click Ok.
  5. A new window or tab will open.  Click the “Subscribe to this feed” link.
  6. In the window that appears, the name for the feed will default to “Suspect transactions.”  Edit the name or leave the default.
  7. Ensure the drop-down menu below is set to Feeds and click Subscribe.
  8. If prompted with a warning about the feed, click Yes.
  9. On the web page that opens, click the “View my feeds” link.  This will open the Favorites Bar and the Suspect Transactions feed should be listed.
  10. Right-click the Suspect Transactions feed and go to Properties.
  11. In the Feed Properties window, highlight all the text in the Address box.
  12. Right-click the highlighted text and click Copy.
  13. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  14. In the main Mail navigation window, right-click the RSS Feeds icon and click Add a New RSS Feed.
  15. A new window will pop up.  Hit Ctrl + V to paste the feed address into the box.
  16. Click Subscribe.
  17. If prompted, enter BBMS credentials again and click Ok.

Firefox:

The process in Firefox is very similar to Internet Explorer.  However, Firefox uses Live Bookmarks for RSS Feeds. This is slightly different than the way Internet Explorer uses the RSS Feeds in the Favorites Bar.

  1. Log in to the BBMS Portal at https://bbms.blackbaud.com/
  2. From the Home screen, select the 'Suspect transactions' tab.
  3. Click the RSS Feed icon.
  4. If prompted, enter BBMS credentials and click Ok.
  5. A new window or tab will open. Click the “Subscribe Now” button.
  6. A new window will pop up where we can rename the feed and choose where in the bookmarks directory to save the feed. Choose a name and location and click Subscribe.
  7. Locate the feed in the bookmarks.
  8. Right-click it and go to Properties.
  9. In the window that appears, highlight all of the text in the box labeled “Feed Location”.
  10. Right-click the highlighted text and click Copy.
  11. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  12. In the main Mail navigation window, right-click on the RSS Feeds icon and click Add a New RSS Feed.
  13.  A new window will pop up.  Hit Ctrl + V to paste the feed address into the box.
  14. Click Subscribe.
  15. If prompted, enter BBMS credentials again and click Ok.

We should now see a folder within the RSS Feeds icon in Outlook labeled Suspect Transactions. As new feeds for suspect transactions come in, they will go directly to this folder similar to the way a new email goes to the inbox.

NOTE:  An RSS feed is NOT an email.  It will not show up in any other email application on your computer or smart phone.
