- From Marketing and Communciations, click Membership renewal efforts
- On the Templates tab, click the name of the process
- On the Membership Rules tab, note the name of each Mail package being used
- Navigate to Marketing and Communications > Packages
- Click View packages
- Click on the name of your Package
- Note the name of the Letter and Export definition being used
- If you do not have your current letter saved locally and you need to download your current letter from Altru:
- Click on the name of your Letter. This will download the current letter. You will need to redo the mail merge in this downloaded letter.
- Navigate to Marketing and Communications > Export definitions.
- Click the drop down next to Export definition used in your letter and click Generate header file
- Save the downloaded CSV file to your local workstation
- Re-do the mail merge for your letter using the downloaded CSV header file
- Save your updated letter to your local workstation
- If you already have a local saved copy of your mail merge letter and are not adding additional merge fields to the letter:
- Open your letter and update the content.
- Save your updated letter to your local workstation
- Upload the updated letter to the Package. Navigate to Marketing and Communications > Packages
- Click View packages
- Click on the name of your Package
- Click on the name of your Letter
- In the Edit membership renewal letter screen, click the green arrow to upload the updated letter you saved to your local workstation in steps above
- Click Save
Email Membership Renewal Letters
- From Marketing and Communciations, click Membership renewal efforts
- On the Templates tab, click the name of the process
- On the Membership Rules tab, note the name of each Email package being used
- Navigate to Marketing and Communications > Packages
- Click View packages
- Click on the name of your Package
- Click on the name of your Email
- In the Edit email screen, update your email content and merge fields
- Click Save
