Solicitor Status dashboard panel includes incorrect solicitors

Some users find that incorrect solicitors are included in the Solicitor Status Dashboard Panel.  This occurs when the Panel is filtered on Campaign, Fund, or Appeal.  If a constituent has a proposal that meets the Campaign, Fund, or Appeal filter, any other proposal on that constituent's record will appear in the panel for the solicitor assigned to that proposal, even if the proposal does not meet the filter requirements of the panel.

This is resolved in 7.96 patch 13, released in September - October 2018 and applied to databases in Blackbaud Hosting Services. If your database is installed locally, download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.

Steps to Duplicate

1) Log into Raiser's Edge as Supervisor
2) Make two constituents who are not currently solicitors into solicitors (37557)
3) On a constituent's record (preferably one without any current proposals), create a Proposal (40135) with a Campaign (Campaign 1) and link one of the solicitors from Step 2 to the proposal
4) On the same constituent's record, create a second Proposal with a different Campaign (Campaign 2) and link the other solicitor from Step 2 to the proposal
5) Save and Close the record
6) Go to Dashboard, click New
7) Add a Solicitor Status to Select Panels, and click Edit
8) Click Select next to Campaigns to include, and select the Campaign used in Step 3 (Campaign 1), Click OK
9) Click Select next to Columns to show, and mark the boxes for No. Proposal, Click OK
10) Click OK to save the Panel
11) The second solicitor (linked to the proposal in Step 6) shows up in the panel as having one proposal, even though the proposal linked to that solicitor is not connected to the Campaign filtered on in the Panel
